[Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV] “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.
The Bible instructs us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as some are in the habit of doing. But rather, we should keep on exhorting one another. There are three things that happen when we gather together in worship;
- We are anointed and changed.
- The situation in the valley changes.
- We sharpen one another.
No time that is spent in the presence of God is wasted.
When we worship together in His presence we change:
The glory that fills our souls begins to heal our mortal bodies and changes our bodies. Exodus 34:29-33 teaches us that after Moses spent time in Mount Sinai receiving the tables of testimony, the skin of his face was changed and began to shine. You may not know how you’ve changed, but others recognize the change in and on you.
In Acts 2:1-5, as the disciples waited in the Upper Room, the Holy Ghost filled them and they changed. We also read in Acts 4:31-33 that after the disciples had prayed, the place where they were standing shook, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost.
When we worship and spend time in His presence, the situation in the valley changes:
The church is the mountain of the Lord, you know. The church is Sion, a city set on a hill. And Just as Moses in Exodus 17:10, lifted up the rod of God for Israel to win the battle against Amalek, your situation in the valley changes when you spend time in the presence of God. I believe that you can also experience the miracle that the centurion who came to our Lord Jesus Christ experienced. The word will go forth and heal your family and things that concern you. Amen!
When we worship at His feet, we sharpen one another:
In Romans 1:10-12, Apostle Paul hoped to be comforted by his visit to Rome. There are many things we are able to do when we are connected to the right people. “Two are better than one, they have a better reward for their labour”.
May the times you spend in the presence of God bring you times of refreshing and change, and transformation! May you be touched by His glory and power!
Be blessed, I love you!
