We serve a Living God; who then is this God? I want to exhort you to pay attention to these five things as you serve the Living God;
1. The Living God has a Son;
Those who believe in the Son of the living God receive the power (right and grace) to rule in life by the Son of the living God.
John 1:12 exhorts that those who believe in the Son of God shall receive power to also live as children of God.
The Bible teaches in Romans 5:17-19, that those who believe in the Son shall reign in life by Him.
2. The Living God has a city;
You must desire for that city, and relax when you come to the city. The city of God is Mount Zion, where there is deliverance, holiness, and possessing of possessions.
Hebrews 12:22 teaches that by faith, we have come to the city of God, to the innumerable company of angels, and blood of sprinkling. Obadiah 1:17 reveals that as we come to Zion, the mountain of faith, we shall be delivered, be holy, and there shall be the possessing of possessions.
3. The Living God has a house;
We must read and know how to behave ourselves in the house of the Lord.
In 1 Timothy 3:15, apostle Paul teaches that we should study thoroughly to know how to behave ourselves in the house of the Lord. The house of the Lord has protocols that must be followed and observed. We must study to understand and follow those protocols.
4. The Living God wants to be followed;
Take heed that an evil of heart of unbelief enters not into you in departing from the Lord.
[HEBREWS 3:12 AMP] “Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart] that turns away from the living God”.
5. The Living God has rewards;
He gives His rewards to those who diligently seek Him; however when wealth increases, don’t trust in it but trust in the Living God who gives us all things to enjoy freely.
Hebrew 11 teaches that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Be blessed, I love you!
