[2 Corinthians 13:11-14 KJV] “Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. [12] Greet one another with an holy kiss. [13] All the saints salute you. [14] The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
God always wants to help His own, especially those who walk by faith in Him. There are three things that sustains those who choose to walk by faith; Grace, love, and communion.
1. Grace exempts us:
When God decided to destroy the world with water, Noah found favour before the Lord, and he was exempted. When you find grace before God and before people, you will be exempted from danger, and even from certain due processes. When you find favour, protocols will be suspended because of you. Esther found grace before the king through the force of fasting and prayer. Nehemiah found favour before the king by fasting and prayer. According to Isaiah 58, those who fast as the Lord has appointed shall find favour.
2. Love resources us:
John 3:16 teaches that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that those who believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Love moved God to give the most precious gift to the human race, that we may be saved. If the Lord did not withhold His only begotten son from us, then He shall by that same son give us all things also. He shall give us all things that we ask for because He loves us.
3. Communion reinforces us:
Communion fosters stronger connection which leads to fruitfulness. “If you abide in me and I in you, then you shall bring forth fruits”. We all need the fellowship of the Holy Spirit to grow healthy and bear fruits. The Bible tells us that “he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him”. As we fellowship with the Lord, we become one spirit with Him. May the Lord have fellowship us.
These are the three things that help you to live an effective and fruitful life. Be Fruitful as you find favour with God and men; as you love the Lord in sincerity as He has loved you, and as you have sweet communion with Him.
Be blessed. My love be with you in Christ Jesus, Amen!
