[1 Timothy 6:6-11 KJV] “But godliness with contentment is great gain. [7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. [9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. [10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. [11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness”.

We have learnt last month that God wants us to serve Him, and He can use any woman as long as that women can; (1) Believe in God’s word, (2) Recieve forgiveness and remission of sin, (3) Let God have full control of her life, (4) Let go of her past, and (5) Be totally submitted to the authority set over her.
Any women who is not submitted to the authority set over her, is bound to fail. So how can a woman let go of a past, be totally yielded to God, submitted to authority set over her, and press forward with God?
The simple secret to follow God without struggle is to admit that we brought nothing into this world and surely we will take nothing out. Whether we marry or not, bear children or not, build houses or not, acquire wealth or not, we will take nothing out. Godliness with contentment is great gain.
It is important to know that all is vanity, vanity of vanities; yet it is needful to understand the wisdom to live an effective life.
[Ecclesiastes 12:8-14 KJV] “Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity. [9] And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. [10] The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. [11] The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
[12] And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil”.
We brought nothing into the world and it is certain that we will take nothing out, it is wisdom not to hold on too tightly to anything in life. You must however take good care of anything God gives you. You are a steward and must care for everything entrusted to you.
It is important to remember that you brought nothing into the world and certainly you can take nothing out. All is vanity, vanity upon vanities. Our lives on earth are short and we must prepare for life eternal.
The best way to live life is to understand that we brought nothing into the world and certainly we can take nothing out. Don’t be in a rush to amass wealth, marry, build a house or gain things. They may be needful here, but certainly not when you are gone. Follow after righteousness, godliness, love, faith, patience, and meekness. You will never miss the way when you walk in this truth and reality. But blessed.
I love you.
