[2 Timothy 3:1-6 KJV] “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [6] For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts”,
The simple reason to be careful in these last days is the nature of people who live in it. We are living in very perilous and dangerous times. The people of these days are dangerous, and you must be circumspect when dealing with people of the times.
The days are dangerous because of the many who walk around in the times having a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. I have seen how many professing Christians compromise their faith cheaply; on funeral grounds, at parties, and even at church picnics. I pray for special insight and understanding for God’s precious children who live in these times. Many of us just hold an ascent faith of who God is, but do not honour Him with our lives one bit.
As you conduct your live in these days, falling in love, partnering with others, buying and selling, remember that in these days, men are;
- Lovers of their own selves,
- Covetous,
- Boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
- Unthankful,
- Unholy,
- Without natural affection,
- Truce breakers, and false accusers,
- Incontinent, and fierce,
- Despisers of those that are good,
- Traitors,
- Heady, and highminded,
- Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
These are mostly the nature of the people you will be dealing with, so wise up. They may look nice and educated, but inwardly, backward. Let us beware because the days are dangerous. The people of these days are treacherous and wicked. We must be as wise as serpents and watch our ways very well. Many people have been deceived and trapped. May the Lord guide your heart to safety in the name of Jesus Christ. Be blessed!
