[Romans 8:14 KJV] “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”.
The Holy Spirit leads by;
1. An audible voice:
He may speak audibly to you. The Lord can speak, and He always speaks.
2. Dreams and visions:
Joel 2:28 teaches this. In Acts 10:12-17, the Holy Spirit led Peter by a dream and a trance. In Acts 16:9-17, Apostle Paul was led to Macedonia by a night vision.
3. Prophecy or revelation:
In Acts 11:28, the prophet Agabus, by inspiration, knew that there will be a famine in the land. In Acts 21:10-12, this same prophet Agabus, knew that Paul will be arrested and bound in Jerusalem.
4. Promptings and feelings:
In acts 13:9, apostle Paul was prompted by the Holy Ghost to rebuke a wizard who was turning away the deputy from the faith. In Acts 16:16-18, apostle Paul was grieved in his spirit; he discerned that the girl had a contrary spirit because he was grieved. He rebuked it to depart from her, and it did.
5. Teaching and opening the Scriptures:
The Bible tells us that the same anointing we have recieved is able to teach us all things. The Holy Spirit leads by the word of God.
Be blessed!
I love you;
