The simple secret to be established in prosperity is to believe God and his prophets. One day, I called someone to go on missions and the persons said, “let me pray about it”. Then I asked the person, would you still have prayed about it of you saw and heard the Lord Jesus speaking to you personally? Then the person, “if Jesus Christ comes now and tells me to go, I will.” Then, I understood why this person was neither established nor prosperous.
[2 Chronicles 20:20 KJV] “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”.
In Genesis 49:1-2, the man of God called his children together and told them what shall befall them in the last days. The destiny and prosperity of the children of Israel were going to be impacted significantly by these prophecies.
On the new years eve, I called you together and told you five things that you should beware of if you want to finish this year well on the Hill. Many of us have forgotten these prophetic cautions, and have started falling prey to the devices of the wicked.
I warned you by the Spirit of the Lord that none of us can make without the grace and truth that flows through the word that is made flesh (See John 1:14)
So, I told you not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves, and be very careful about how you behave when you come to church. The word of God encourages us in Hebrews 10:25 not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves as some are in the habit of doing. Anytime we come to the house of the Lord, we must remember that it belongs to the Lord. In Mark 11:17, the Lord tells us that His house is a House of Prayer and not a den of thieves. Above it all, this house, according to Obadiah 1:17, is a mountain of holiness, possessing of possession, and deliverance.
I also told you to take heed that an evil heart of unbelief enters not into any of us in departing from the Lord. There are times when people are following the Lord, but their hearts are far from Him. The apostle admonished us in Hebrews 3:12.
We also learned that, when riches increase, we should not trust in uncertain riches but in God who gives us all things to enjoy freely.
It is my prayer that you shall believe God and believe His prophets. That is the secret to prosperity and establishment. Stay blessed!
I love you;
