1. Every Christian man should be able to provide for his household:
It is our Christian responsibility. The Bible teaches that a Christian man who cannot provide for his household is worse than an infidel. “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8 KJV).
Christians must therefore build capacity. We must build capacity for life. We cannot leave life to chance. We must prepare for life. We must build capacity.
2. Every Christian man must be able to pray everywhere he is without wrath or doubting:
The male believer has a ministry of prayer. We are called to pray without wrath or doubting, lifting up holy hands. “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Timothy 2:8 KJV).
This is one thing that all men must develop capacity to do. The Christian man must pray anywhere with wrath or doubting. Any man who will find praying anywhere awkward is not a proper Christian. Praying everywhere lifting up holy hands without wrath or doubting is our ministry to Christ.
3. Every Christian man must know how to dwell with his wife according to knowledge:
You cannot force your spouse to do anything, so dwell with her according to knowledge. “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7 KJV)
Today, many homes are failing, because the men don’t pray, nor provide nor know how to dwell with their wives according to knowledge. These are the qualities that can build our homes and bring about a great change. You will become that Christian man who prays, provides for his home, and dwells with his wife according to knowledge. Be blessed!
I love you;
