[Ephesians 6:10 KJV] “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”.
In one of the epistle of apostle Paul, he exhorts us to be strong. When the apostle says be strong, it means you must decide and act to be strong. Be strong means you have a role to play in being strong. We cannot just sit aloof and expect to be strong. It takes being responsible and deciding to march forward and to build.
He exhorts each of us to be strong in:
- The Lord, and
- The power of His might.
We cannot leave life and living to chance. We must arise and begin to work hard to win in the battle for dominion and life. The weak will fail and not survive. We must, therefore, build strength and press on. He said, “… be strong in the Lord and the power of his might”. Being weak will make you a victim. You must be strong and press on in strength. Don’t leave life to chance, build strength, and push through to win.
Always remember that we are standing in the middle of an intense warfare. There is something that is always fighting you or trying to fight you. We must prepare and be ready to face it squarely. Don’t just sit around and allow things to go under the bridge. Be blessed!
