[Nehemiah 4:2 KJV] “And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?”
We are taking this inspiration from the rebuilding of the broken walls of Jerusalem. People will talk all kinds of trash just because you decided to rebuild the broken areas of your life, but God will help you!
Whenever you have to deal with brokenness, remember that not many people wish you well. There are many people who wish you will remain broken and never rise again. There are many adversaries, so until you take the journey to wholeness as a personal decision, you may never see the restoration you’re desiring.
In the days of Nehemiah, there were many people who wished the walls of Jerusalem would never rise again. There are many people who are benefiting from your mess, and wish you would never rise again. This is the time to make the personal decision to fix the mess of your life at all costs!
You cannot rot in your mess; you are rising and this is the time to rise, and let the dust settle. God will help you to fix every mess. You will fix every mess that your mother or father or grandparents may have created. God will help you. Don’t be afraid! As you rise from this mess and dust, you will keep rising, never to fall again!
The anointing of God upon you is meant to help you rise and fix the mess. You will not miss it this time. May this season be the beginning of greater things to come. Change is here now, and God will help you.
The following keys will help you as you arise to rebuild every brokenness or mess;
1. Be honest about your situation:
Call a spade a spade. Don’t lie about your present situation. Don’t let your past define you but don’t lie about it either. Be honest about what the past has made you into, but determine to rise.
2. Settle down and pray:
Settle down and pray, because rising from what you have become is not an easy journey, you need back up. Your past, and people could break you so much that you may even forget who you are. Prayer is going to play an important role in your rise to what God has planned for you. Don’t let your past stop you. Pray and decide to rise.
3. Follow due process and protocols:
There is magical way to recovery; Just be willing to follow due process and protocols. There may never be an easy way, but if it is worth it, then it’s worth it.
You can fix the mess if you can allow time to bring the needed healing. Don’t look for shortcuts, don’t look for love and support from people; You may never find it. Many old friends will reject you, many people you have helped will talk behind your back because now you are broken, but please lift up your head and keep pushing.
4. Deal wisely with fake people:
Indeed, there are many things you cannot do alone, but beware when people come around you when you are broken; Many just gather to prey on you and make a living out of your pain. Therefore, you must deal wisely with fake friends. You will surely need some friends, but be smart in your relationships.
5. Inspire those who stand with you:
Finally, deal well with those who stand by you. There are people who will be there for you through the thick and thin. Don’t take their love for granted. Inspire people who stand by you. Inspire them with humane and excellent attitudes, seasoned speeches, and clear thinking.
You must be intentional about fixing the mess of your life; Take it personal!
Stay Blessed!!
