[Psalms 118:17 KJV] “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord“.
Reference
Psalm 118
Motivation
There are times when so much is happening around you and you wonder whether you will survive; the Psalmist was in such a place and after surviving many missiles from the enemy, he exclaimed and said “I shall not die but will live to declare the testimonies of the Lord.” I came to declare to someone that you shall not die but live to declare the testimonies of the Lord.
Discussion
Without doubt, you shall not die, but will live to declare the works of the Lord. The nations may have risen against you but
The Lord shall set you in a large place:
When those who persecute you and betray you think you are finished, the Lord shall lift you into a large place. The good Lord will set you in a large place. You will move to a new place of dominion.
The Lord is on your side:
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord is on your side to fight for you. You shall not be dismayed. You will not be afraid of what man can do to you. God is on your side.
The Lord shall be your helper
The shall be your helper. You shall never be without help. “The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me”. The Lord shall give you rest and you shall not even need to fight the nations that rise against you. The Lord and a multitude shall fight for you and you will not need to fight.
The name of the Lord shall destroy the enemy
His name shall be your high tower and weapon of war. You will not have to use any other weapon, the name of the Lord shall destroy the enemy.
Benediction and Prophetic Instruction
The Lord shall become your strength, your song, and your salvation when you learn to;
- Call upon Him
- Trust Him rather than trust men
- Run to His name as a to a high tower
- Extol and praise His name
- Enter into the gates of the righteous
You shall not die, you will live; you will live to declare the testimony of the Lord. I know that Jehovah shall be our strength, your song and your salvation. The nations can gather, they can do their worst, but the Lord shall be a defence unto us.
He is our power, praise, and protector. The Lord is our strength, song and salvation. We shall not be afraid when the storm rages and the tempest blast.
Be blessed; I love you!
