Many of us live the way we live because we don’t even know that we are bought with a price. I am sure that if you knew that you were bought with a price, you will make different choices and live differently.

The Bible tells us that we were bought with a price. We were bought at a value, we were bought with the blood of Jesus.
Remember that God did not buy us when we were perfect. Indeed, we were bought at a time when we were yet sinners.
- God bought us because He loves us. John 3:16 teaches that God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- God bought us because He believes in our future more than our past. God believes more in what you can become than what you are now.
- God bought us at a high price because he cares about us. God does not want us to continue in suffering and to remain bound.
He did not buy us because we were offered at a cheap price, He paid with the most valuable gift in heaven. We are bought at a high price.
Now, if we were bought at such a price, then we belong to Him. The scriptures teaches us that both our spirits and bodies belong to God. We are His, and I am glad that I belong to God. If God bought us at a price, then we belong to Him. He owns each of us. We are His prized possession. We belong to Him. God has us, He owns us and we are important to Him.
If God bought each of us at such a high price, then He must have a purpose for buying us. The scriptures tells us in Revelation 1:6-8, that He bought us to be kings and priest unto Him. We are bought to have dominion to rule and gifts to serve. We are bought to be kings and priests. There is a purpose for paying such a price for hopeless sinners as we were. I am so grateful that God paid such a price to own me.
Roman 8:28 assures us that all things will work together for our good because we are called according to His purpose and because we love Him. We are bought for a purpose and all things will work for our good. Shout an Amen!
The Psalmist in Psalm 103:3-5, teaches that there are benefits in belonging to and serving the Lord. Because we were bought at a price, we can walk with our chest out and in confidence.
[Psalms 103:2-6 KJV] “Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [3] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; [4] Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; [5] Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. [6] The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed”.
From this text, we see that the Lord does the following things for us;
1. He forgives all our iniquities:
The Lord forgives our sins. He will not buy us at such a high price, and discard us because we sinned. 1 John 1:9 teaches that He will forgive and cleanse us when we confess. God has us in His hands and will surely forgive.
2. He heals all our diseases:
The Lord will restore us. He heals our diseases and will always heal us. You will never fall sick. The Lord shall continue to be your healer. He shall be your restorer. Divine health is your portion and great grace is coming upon you. Amen!
3. He redeems our life from destruction:
Hallelujah! God will defend each one of us to the core. He will keep you as the apple of His eye. In Deuteronomy 32:10, the Bible tells us that He found him in a howling wilderness and carried him on the wings of eagle and kept him as an apple of His eyes. May the Lord keep you as the apple of His eyes. You will not be destroyed. You shall be defended.
4. He crowns us with loving kindness and mercy:
Because you belong to the Lord, you will be favoured above other nations. You will be favored and God will give you grace. The favour and mercy of God shall compensate for your pitfalls. You will rise and win above every storm. May grace and mercy follow and lead you all the way to the top and may you excel.
5. He satisfies our mouths with good things:
The Lord shall provide for us. He bought us with a price and will not leave us to starve. God is our provider and shall provide. None of us shall lack supply, Amen!. He bought us and can take care of our needs. May you never lack. May you walk in the newness of life and grace.
Remember that we are the sheep of God’s pasture. We are His sheep. We are His people. We belong to God and nothing, absolutely nothing, can hurt us, Amen!
Stay blessed; I love you!
