We have been studying lately on the theme, “Women Who Received Their Dead Back to Life”. We have been studying the lessons of receiving life back into good things that died in your life. We know that we serve the resurrection and the life. We serve the God that can raise the dead back to life.
[2 Kings 13:20-21 KJV] “And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year. And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet”.
We have come to understand that certain women received their dead back to life through faith, yet others also received their dead back to life because the Lord had compassion on them. This shows clearly that God does not fit into some set of steps and mathematical formulae. God is sovereign; indeed He owns the kingdom, the power, and the glory. There is no God like Him. He reigns and commands all the authority.
Tonight, we want to discuss another blessed woman who received her dead son back alive. She is also a nameless woman but her son came back to life by what seems like a mistake. The Bible tells us that after Elisha died and was buried, another young man died. Now, at that time, Moab and Syria were troubling Israel, but because of God’s covenant with Abraham, He left them to keep suffering. Now the young men who were going to bury their friend mistakenly dropped him in the tomb of Elisha because they saw the Moabites and hurried to escape
There are times when women received their dead back to life because even the sympathizers and friends gave up on them. The scriptures tell us that, the men were going to bury a dead man, and upon seeing the spies they dropped the body in the tomb of Elisha. God will work a miracle in your life one of these days. Don’t mourn or complain because of who gave up on you. I am not referring to you rebelling, I am referring to when others give up on you because they are preserving themselves. My God will make a way.
Friends and sympathizers gave up on the young man. They were just trying to preserve themselves. They were running for their lives. They dropped the body on the bones of Elisha and run, but the dead became revived and stood up. You will be revived! Your dream will be revived! Your business will be revived!
Others may have received their dead by faith, others because the Lord had compassion on them, but you will receive your dead because everyone gave up on you. Don’t kill yourself because of who left you, the Lord will do a new thing. God will work a new work. Something new is about to happen. Your dead shall rise because the anointing in the bones has not run out yet. You will stumble upon unusual miracles and breakthroughs.
I don’t know how, but I know God will do a new thing in your life. Don’t be worried or discouraged, keep going, keep running, keep pressing and God will be your helper.
