There is a Spirit that releases the ability to work mighty works, He is the Spirit of God; He is the Spirit and power of God. He is that Spirit that releases the ability and grace to do mighty works.
[Judges 6:14 KJV] “And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
We have, however, already learned that every ministry needs signs, wonders, miracles, and mighty works to both give foundation and stability to their faith, and to amplify that ministry. We also know that these mighty works do not happen in a vacuum, they happen because people act; we cannot sit aloof and wait for things to happen. We must all arise and act. The acts of the apostles were written because the apostles acted; the acts of the Simpes will be written when the Simpes act.
We must, therefore;
- Step out and take action by prophetic understanding
- Hear, believe and tarry to be endued with power from on high
- Continue steadfastly in doctrine and fellow, breaking of bread, and prayer. In the pursuit of mighty works, tough times may come, but you must push through the storm by building up your inner life.
- Operate only in an atmosphere of faith and honour. Move away from people who don’t believe in you.
- Speak and act by the word only, and not by feelings or hearsay.
Step out and take action by prophetic understanding?:
Gideon was hiding, and yet he was expecting to see the works that his fathers told him about. What he was missing was the fact that his fathers had stories to tell because somebody acted. His fathers had stories to tell because Moses acted, Aaron acted, Joshua acted. Many of us are wondering why nothing is happening in our fellowships and families when we are sitting aloof doing nothing.
Remember, the acts of the apostles were written because the apostles acted. In that same way, the acts of the Simpes will be written, if the Simpes act. The acts of the Hagins, Copelands, Osteens, Idahosas are written because somebody by that name acted.
The first step to invoke the Spirit that releases mighty works is the arise and go. In Matthew 28:18-20, the Lord said we should go into the world and preach the good news. In Mark 16:14-20, the Lord said, “go into the world and preach the gospel, and these signs shall follow them that believe”. Until we are ready to act by prophetic light, we are not ready to manifest the mighty hand of God working in these last days.
Hear, believe and tarry to be endued with power from on high:
Don’t just jump into the waters just because we said act. In Luke 24:44-53, after the Lord had explained to them from the Law, the prophets, and the Psalms, He told them to go and tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power.
Honour your apostle by continuing steadfastly in their doctrine and fellow, breaking of bread, and prayer
You can walk in mighty works by honouring authority. Though David could kill Goliath, he went through all the protocols and due process. You must respect the doctrines and fellowship, and prayers. You must continue instant in prayer. The Bible says men ought to pray always and not to give up. Those who have mighty works are forceful and tenacious. They push until it happens. Even though it is by grace, apostle Paul did much because he labored above them all.
Your church is empty because many of you go in there on Sunday, sit and listen to a sermonette, leave and go home to wait for another dose of good preaching. You will have mighty works if you can continue building up your inner life through doctrine, fellowship, communion, and prayer.
Operate in an atmosphere of faith, honour, and loyalty
Listen, a servant is not greater than his master, you can do what your master has done and not more. In Mark 6, our Lord could not do mighty works in a place where the people did not receive Him. Place matters, if you stay in the wrong place for a long time, you will either die or your gift will die.
Great men worked great feats when they were surrounded by people who believed in the anointing and grace on their lives. The men of David understood that he was worth more than 10,000 of them. You must hold your pastor in such awe to understand that your pastor or leader is worth 10,000 men. I exhort you, therefore, to minister only in places where you are honoured and received. The Lord said, “if you go to a place and they don’t receive you, move on.”
Speak and act by the word only, and not by feelings or hearsay.
David could face Goliath when he spoke and acted by the word. If he had listened to his feelings or the things he heard, he would never have faced Goliath. You will do mighty works when you act on the word but not on hearsay.
I have no doubt that your story would be told, if only you will arise and act. Just
- Step out and take action by prophetic light
- Hear, believe, and tarry till you are endued with power from on high
- Continue steadfastly in your apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer
- Operate in an atmosphere of faith and honour
- Speak and act by the word and wisdom; and not by feelings and hearsay.
Be blessed, I love you
Noah Simpe Bediako
Give me a hearing ear, a believing heart and patience to wait for your appointed time. Give me grace enough to act on the word of my pastor in Jesus name.
God bless you Bishop.
I’m blessed.
a word in season…. prophetic understanding
