In our Month of miracles, I want to talk about the secret to miracles and mighty works.
1. Honour the prophet as a prophet:
The Bible teaches us in Mark 6:1-5, that our Lord Jesus Christ could not do any mighty works in His home town and among His people because of their unbelief. He was able to lay hands on a few people who were sick and healed them. Familiarity is a miracle killer. It kills the anointing and kills the grace. We must learn to receive the man of God; if we really want the anointing to work. The Bible teaches us to believe God and we will be established; His prophets and you will prosper.
2. Mix the word you hear with faith:
Hebrews 4:1-3 teaches that the word can only profit us if we mix it with faith in us. Just the word will not deliver, it must be mixed with faith. Believe the word the servant of God speaks to you even if it does not make sense. When Mary brought the people to Jesus at the wedding of Cana, she told them to do whatever He tells them to do. Your obedience will yield greater results than just listening.
3. Continue steadfastly on his teachings, fellowship and prayers:
In Acts 2:42-45, we see that there were miracles and mighty signs in the church because they continued steadfastly in the doctrine, fellowship and prayers of the apostles. We must continue in prayer, doctrine, fellowship, and the fear of the Lord if we want to see more miracles and mighty works.
4. Do the diligent works that can produce the miracles:
We learn that after Eli prayed for Hannah, she went back home and did what will produce the miracles. This is the time to arise and act on the word. This is the time to work harder like it all depends on work and pray like it all depends on prayer.
I prophesy that this month shall indeed be a month of miracles. We shall see the hand of the Lord and see more mighty works. We shall see church growth, more souls shall be won through the outreaches, we shall prosper and see God work His greater works in us.
