Genesis 2 expounds on the purpose of God concerning His creation. God has always cared about man. The Bible says that God created the heavens and earth before He created man. God has always wanted a comfortable abundant life for man.
[Genesis 2:2-5 KJV] “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made”.
“These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground”.
God (1) Planned, (2) Created, (3) Assigned, (4) Accommodated, and (5) Provided for man so that man will be able to discharge his responsibility without stress.
What then is man’s assignment? Our assignment is to till the ground, dress the garden, and keep it. Your assignment is to till the ground, dress the garden that God has given you, and keep it (guard it jealously, protect, and maintain it).
What did God provide? God gave man His spirit, a specific assignment, a home in Eden, four river channels of water decorated with precious stones, trees that bear fruits that are pleasant for food, a helper meet for him, clear instruction, and daily fellowship.
The purpose of our creation is to experience and spread the influence of Eden. God created man to till the ground, dress the garden and keep it. The Lord wants us to rise, but also to raise others. The Lord wants you to be part of continuing the creation of abundance. We are part of His divine program. We are part of the creation pattern. The Lord created us to till the ground and have dominion. God wants us to be part of creation.
Remember, it is all about rising and raising others. Experiencing and spreading the influence of Eden. I pray that you will not miss the opportunity to promote the purpose of God. You ought to forgive as you were forgiven; commit to other faithful men what was committed to you. We are to give freely because we have freely received all we have. We are to raise others as we were raised.
God is a good father, who wants each of us to be part of the story of creation. Inasmuch as God can save the world, He wants us to be part of the process, that is why He wants you to pray. God does not want to do a superman show, He wants to create with His children. You and I have to be part of the story.
