You have All You Need to Succeed

I want to speak to you today about all you need for your future and assignment. I believe many of us have been wondering whether or not we have what it takes to win and succeed in life. I believe it’s important to know what we really need to succeed.

[Exodus 4:1‭-‬5 KJV] “And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee. And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it”.

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee”.

All you need to succeed, all you need for your future and your assignment is exactly whatever you have in your hand.

1. When God met Moses, all that Moses needed was what was in his hands.
2. When God met Gideon, all that Gideon needed was his present might.
3. When God met Peter, all he need was his fishing skills.

All God needs is your ability to speak, to see, to move, to think, to act, or to maneuver. All God needs in order to make you a blessing to your world is already in your hands. Don’t hold back anymore!

Why don’t many win?

Many are not winning, although they have what it takes to win because of the following;

1. Familiarity:

Many of us are too familiar with who we are and what we have. We are so familiar that we are no longer watching to discover more. Moses had been holding the rod in his hands for so long that even when the rod changed, he was still not paying attention to it. Many of us take ourselves and our giftings for granted. Many of us are oblivious to the potential of the rod in our hands.

You don’t need to look further to find a good church, you are already in a good church; you don’t need to look further to find miracles because they are already happening close to you. You don’t need to look further to find a good pastor, you already have one. Just deal with familiarity and you will see the potential of what you have been sitting around all this while. Familiarity is a killer, kill it now!

2. Comparison:

Many of us are unable to win because we are always comparing ourselves to others and trying to match up to them. God has not called us to match up to others but run our own race. Maybe the Master gave some ten, gave others five, and gave you one, but don’t hide your talent. Many are hiding what they have because they feel they are not men enough. I have come to know that if each of us could understand that we have exactly what we need to make it in life, we would do more.

3. Independence:

A lot more people don’t achieve much because they are unwilling to yield their gift to God, they are unwilling to stay under authority. The prodigal son messed up because he was unwilling to stay under control. When Moses yielded the same rod in his hands to God, it became a serpent. If you can yield your voice, body, skills, and intellect to God, His life will enter into it and greatly transform it.

How do you win by what you have?

The following are three simple secrets to win by what you have;

1. Value what you have
2. Don’t compare yourself to others
3. Yield your gift to God to obey Him
4. Step out in courage and do what God has sent you to do

I have no doubt that you will win. You are too loaded to lose. Be yielded to God and see His mighty hand in action.
