Prayer is a means by which mortal men may connect and communicate with the immortal God. Prayer is a mean by which men of faith invite God to act in the realm of men. The six dimensions of prayer are
1. The act of worship:
This is the part of prayer when men acknowledge the supremacy of God. In this part of prayer we acknowledge that God rules in the affairs of men.
2. The art of confession:
This is when men acknowledge that they have failed because they did not keep or honour the word of God.
3. The art of bringing your petition before the Lord:
To be able to bring your petitions before the Lord effectively, you must state clearly what the state of affairs is and what you desire of the Lord. You must be specific! Don’t beat about the bush!
4. The art of supplication:
This involves asking for mercy and grace. Here, we ask the Lord to give us the grace and the virtues to press on into the future.
5. The art of warring:
Many of the times, God releases the answer to our petitions immediately we pray, but there are some principalities and devils who arise to oppose our answers. We must arise and war, we must resist all demonic opposition concerning our petition.
6. The art of thanksgiving:
Whatsoever we desire, when we pray, we should believe, and it shall be ours.
I pray that the good Lord shall answer every one of our prayers in this season, and prepare us for the coming year. You shall not miss the goodness of the Lord.
Be blessed, I love you!
