I want to exhort you today about finding grace before the eyes of the Lord.
[Genesis 6:5-8 KJV] “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord .
Grace is unmerited favour of God. Grace is the divine influence of God that empowers a man to run the race of life with ease. Grace is that work of God in a man that compensates for the things that are lacking in a man’s life. Grace is not an excuse to be lazy, grace is an argument to work even harder.
As we wait on God today, this my prayer that you shall find grace in the eyes of God in the day of danger. Grace in the eyes of God is for God to have mercy upon you and to exempt you from calamity. This is something that we all need and must pray for. May the Lord look favourable upon you! May He exempt you from calamity, all the days of your life! Just as Noah found grace in the eyes of God, you will find grace in the eyes of God.
I don’t think Noah did anything to find favour in the eyes of God, except God may have found in him a perfect heart that will obey. I am sure that if God shall find in any of us a heart ready to obey, then God will give grace to such a one. God gives grace to the obeying heart. I pray that you shall find grace in the eyes of God. I pray that the Lord shall favour you like never before. The grace of God is all we need to escape calamity in the coming year.
[Hebrews 11:7 KJV] “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith”.
Noah, the Bible says, was moved with fear to prepare an ark; when he was warned of God of things not yet seen. We can say that Noah found grace in the eyes of God because he was moved with fear when he was warned. You will find grace when you respond to the word. Noah was moved with fear and obeyed.
The following keys will help you to find grace in the eyes of God;
Believe the word and act on it:
This is one of the greatest secrets to grace and mercy and favour.
[Romans 5:1-2 KJV] “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God”.
Come boldly before the throne of grace:
When we come boldly unto the throne of grace, we obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of trouble. When you come boldly into prayer, you will go far.
[Hebrews 4:16 KJV] “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”.
As we fast and pray, may the heavens hear us and answer with grace and favour in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not die, you shall find grace.
Be blessed, I love you!
Noah Simpe Bediako
Amen. Grace and more grace .in Jesus name.
Thank you Pastor.
