Things We Need for Evangelism

[2 Timothy 2:2 KJV] “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also”.

Now if we can really carry out this assignment of committing to faithful men, what has been committed to us then there are certain things we need. We have a charge to keep as sons and daughters of this ministry. It is to commit to faithful men, what has been committed to us by our pastor. To be able to this you need the following;

Decision:

Until you decide to take the challenge to keep the cycle of raising others rolling, you will never be involved. Each of us must decide to commit what has been committed to us to other faithful men.

Holy Spirit:

You need the anointing of the Holy Ghost. This is what will transform you into a witness. In Luke 24:45 onwards, the Lord told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they are endowed with power from on high.

Wisdom:

The Bible tells us that we are sent as sheep among wolves and therefore, we need wisdom as serpents. You must be wise if you can survive in the mission field. May the Lord give us wisdom and understanding to deliver us from the hands of the devil. You will arise to teach nations.

Money:

Money is one of the most important input into missions. You cannot even be a good Samaritan if you don’t have a donkey to carry the wounded, and wine and oil to dress their wounds; you must have money to pay the innkeeper. Listen, the Lord shall prosper us to make us effective witnesses.

Testimony:

The most effective witness is one who has a testimony. When you experience it yourself, you can teach another with conviction. When the man of Gadara was delivered, he could reach ten cities. He who feels it, they say, knows it. This year, the Lord will give you a testimony to make your witness effective.

You can be effective with your soul winning when you develop and nurture these five things. I pray that each of us will have a testimony to share and to share with friends and family.
