[Proverbs 15:4 KJV] “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit”.
The Bible teaches that a “wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit;” That is to say that kinds word lift up the spirit but rude words maim and hurt the soul.
The Contemporary English Translation of the Bible (CEV) puts it as, “Kind words are good medicine, but deceitful words can really hurt”. Our quest must be to find kind words to speak always to those who hear us. The Bible says that our words must always be seasoned with wisdom to minister grace to our hearers.
[Ephesians 4:29 KJV] “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers”.
While physical wounds may heal easily, but emotional wounds caused by speaking unkind words can hurt so badly, and are very difficult to heal.
We want to fill the world with beauty and kindness. We want to fill the world with healthy people. We want to resolve to heal with our words. Can you decide from today that you will heal with your words and not crush anybody’s emotions with unkind words? I pray that the Lord shall heal our tongues and help us to fill the world with healthy people by speaking kind words.
We know, however, that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. A man or woman cannot speak kind words except their hearts are filled with kindness. When the heart is sick, the words from that heart will be sick also. You can only speak in love when your heart is filled with love. You can only bring out from the abundance of your heart. I pray that the Lord shall heal every heart reading this message. I pray that your hearts shall be healed and your tongue healed also.
Be blessed, I love you!
