6 Things that will Make a Big Difference in 2020

The presence of God is that enabling atmosphere that makes things happen. Without His presence, you are doomed. Without His presence, you will fail. Joseph succeeded because God was with him. Acts 7:9 emphasises that “the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him”.

Solomon the son of David waxed strong because the Lord was with him. 2 Chronicles 1:1 teaches that “Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly”.

David succeeded in Saul’s palace because God was with him; In 2 Samuel 5:10, we read about how “David went on, and grew great, and the Lord God of hosts was with him”.

Jesus succeeded because the Father was with him. In Acts 10:38, we read about “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”. The phrase “for God was with Him” suggests that Jesus was able to do these things because God was with Him. The list can go on and on and on, but remember that the presence of God in your life will make a great difference in your life in 2020.

The second thing that can make a great difference in your life in 2020 is a vision; a clear direction of where you are heading. You must have a vision to guide and lead you. Your vision will determine what you focus on. You need a clear vision.

The third thing is your thoughts. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he”. Your thoughts will play a great role in your life in the coming year. You will be transformed by the renewing of your mind. As long as you keep thinking as in the years gone by, your life will remain in the past. You must renew your mind after the new man created after the holiness of God.

The fourth thing will be your words; they are forerunners to your life. The things you say will shape your life. The things you say will affect your conduct. You will need to change what you say or expect nothing different.

The fifth thing will be your company. Check who you allow into your inner circle. Some people can belittle you so much that you will begin to belittle yourself. Those you allow around you will determine how far you will be inspired and aspired to rise to. Check your company.

The six things will be who you choose as your mentor and classic role model. Who is your ant? who do you go to to learn? Go to the ant and learn. You must learn enough to be able to take action on your vision and assignment.

I believe with all of my heart that these things will make a big difference in your life in the coming year. I believe that the coming year must be good and bring a lot of change to the people who stay around the mountain.
