Reflection
Paul does not treat sexual purity and bodily discipline as optional extras for the mature few. He calls it something every believer should know how to do, a skill of sanctification learned and practised, not a personality trait some people happen to have and others do not. To possess a vessel means to take active, deliberate ownership of it rather than allowing culture, impulse, or pressure to govern it for you.
Remember! Possessing Your Body Means: To take an active and deliberate ownership of it. It is something you must plan and intentionally pursue.
