[Luke 13:10-17 KJV] “And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. [11] And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. [12] And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. [13]And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God”.
[14] “And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. [15] The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? [16] And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?”
[17] “And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him”.
I want to speak to your today about breaking satanic sieges. God does not want any of us to be bound, He wants to set you free. Our Lord Jesus recounted how the daughter of Abraham ought to be loosed from her infirmity.
What then is a satanic siege? It is a condition or restriction placed on you by the devil to keep you from reaching your goals and God’s purpose for your life. When the devil bound the woman with the spirit of infirmity, she was bowed down and could not stand up straight. Many people are unable to function fully in life because of the siege of the enemy placed on their lives. This siege stifles their ability to fully function in the will and realm of God.
The truth is, the devil wants you to be sick, he is constantly looking for an avenue to enter in and to afflict you. He is seeking to place you under a siege and to control you. It is my heart desire that you shall rise to the task and not allow him to have a field day in your life. You have the power to stand up for your right and to fight back for your health. God wants you well but the devil wants to bind you with infirmity.
All you need to do to be free from the spirits of infirmity and any satanic siege is to strive for an encounter with the word and power of God. All that the woman did was to be at a place where she could be noticed and touched. The woman was touched because Jesus Christ saw her. You must be seen and noticed. The Lord was teaching and He saw the woman. May heaven notice you! May you never be forgotten! You shall be loosed and be liberated. Your moment of change is coming! The Lord will give you double honour for all your shame. I pray that every siege shall be broken, Amen!
The Lord only spoke a word and touched her and she was restored. I believe with all my heart that the Lord shall touch and liberate each one of us. That change is coming and God is on our side! Remember that you are a child of God and the devil cannot place a siege on you. This is the time to fight back and defy all odds that are against you. You shall win and not fail.
