Unleashing Unction Against Wickedness

[Judges 16:20 KJV] “And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him”.

I want to exhort you on how to unleash unction to destroy evil and wickedness. We live in a world full of wickedness. People are friends today, then enemies tomorrow. The foes of a man are the people of his household. The only way you can walk in victory in this life is to learn how to unleash unction against wickedness. I don’t want you to live your life with paranoid ideas.

The truth is, when you are asleep, others are plotting wickedness against you, when you are minding your business, others are planning how to bring you down. The wicked will not rest until they shed blood. They are always plotting how to destroy an innocent man. You help someone get to the top, they want to sit on top of you. There is so much wickedness in the earth today, hence the need to learn the art of unleashing unction against wickedness.

The man Samson fell in love with Delilah, but she was in love with money. He loved her with all his heart, yet she loved money more than anything. Wickedness is real, evil is real, but more real is the power of God to neutralise evil. The Bible says after knowing where his great strength lies, she shaved off his hair and vexed him till he was weak, then she called the Philistines upon him. When she woke Samson up, he said “I will go out and shake myself as at other times…” he did not know that God has departed.

To stir up unction against wickedness, you need to;

1. Speak by inspiration only
2. Stir up praise in and around your home.
3. Have communion with the brethren
4. Find a place of prayer
5. Be yielded to the leading of the Holy Ghost

These are five simple secrets to unleash unction against wickedness. You must speak by faith and not by sight. You must affirm the word of God concerning you. The Spirit of faith is in speaking. When you believe you speak.

Do you remember how Paul and Silas overcome prison gates? By praise and prayer. Do you remember how the walls of Jericho come down? By faith and praise. Maintain an atmosphere of praise and worship you will unleash the unction in you.

When the Lord sensed the danger of death, he had communion with His twelve. When we break bread together, we receive power to face uncertain times. The blood sprinkled purges our conscience.

Finally, find a place of prayer and be yielded to God. In the garden of Gethsemane, the Lord yielded in prayer to the will of the Father. He said, “not as I will,  but let Your will be done”. May you be yielded. Learn to die to self. Be strong and be yielded to God.
