4 Truths You Should Know About Unclean Spirits

Today, I want to share with you simple truths you should know about unclean spirits.

[Luke 11:24‭-‬26 KJV] “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first”.

The nature and operations of devils are often shrouded in a mystery and secrecy, making it hard for ordinary believers to effectively deal with them.

It is important to take note of the following;

1. There are unclean spirits all around us who are seeking a dwelling place where they can find rest:

Devils are all around us seeking a place they can rest. They are always seeking rest, in dry, empty, and deserted places. That’s because they don’t want to be disturbed. Their first focus when they enter a place is to break down anything that can disturb them.

They have an affinity for hypocrites. They love people who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. Unclean spirits will always try to enter people who are cleaned up, garnished, but empty. They seek to possess people who are not filled.

An interesting fact to note here is that demons always resort to places or people they have possessed before. Any demon that has ever possessed you will see your body as a last resort. They always come back to check if they can re-possess you

2. Unclean spirits operate at varying levels of wickedness, and they know their own levels:

Some unclean spirits are more wicked than others. They exist in different hierarchies of wickedness. One surprising thing about demons is that they team up and work together.

3. Unclean spirits altar the nature of the people they possess:

When unclean spirits enter into a man they begin to work hard to alter his nature. They destroy good things they found in him, and his last state becomes worse than the former. If you don’t resist devils, they will destroy you. They will manipulate you to do things you never dreamt of. Beware and resist them.
