The Art of Worship

I want to exhort you on the art of worship. We know that this is the time when God is seeking the true worshippers who worship Him in spirit and in truth.

[Psalms 100:1‭-‬5 KJV] “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord , all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations”

We know that our worships must be a lifestyle. We should not wait to get into a building or a mountain to worship. We should worship the Lord 24/7, 365 days a year. Worship is a lifestyle. How then can we worship the Lord as a lifestyle?

The following will help us to worship the Lord as a lifestyle;

1. Serve the Lord with gladness:

What you do for humanity in the name of the Lord is an art of worship. If you fetch me a cup of water because of God and I am aware, it’s an art of worship. If you do anything for anyone, making it clear to the person that you are doing it that way because you fear the Lord, whether it was at a fee or not, it’s an art of worship.

2. Maintain the shout of the King wherever you are:

Let the praise of the Lord be in your mouth continually. Live a grateful life.

3. Enter His gates with thanksgiving in your heart, into His courts with praise, and into His presence with singing:

The house of the Lord has three levels of holiness: the gates, the courts, and the presence. Each of the levels has a specific protocol that must be observed: thanksgiving, praise, and singing.

There are five healthy emotions God wants you to show: joy (joyful noise), gladness, thanksgiving (gratitude), praise (awe), and singing.

I pray that your house shall be filled with the bustling noise of joy! May our community and city never hear the sound of mourning or crying. We banish from the land anything that causes pain and anxiety and panic. May the Lord defend our household, communities, and cities.

I pray that your service shall be acknowledged by your generation. You will not die in obscurity. You will not be forgotten. You will shine like a star. The thanksgiving of many shall abound to the heavens because of you. Jehovah shall amplify your efforts. Nations will come from far and near to access your trade and craft. Your service will impact nations!

May the truth and grace of God lead you to His gates and into His courts and presence all the days of your life! May you know the joy of serving the Lord in worship! May you find pasture in the presence of the Lord. May the Lord delight in shepherding you! I pray that He shall appoint for you shepherds that will feed you with knowledge!

You will not miss the way, the Lord shall always be with and keep you!
