I want to exhort you on the need to buy truth and never be tempted to sell it. Never be tempted to sell truth to others but if truth is for sale, buy it. I pray that as you go through this day you will spend your precious time and resources to purchase truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding. These are four valuable things in life.
[Proverbs 23:23 KJV] “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.”
The challenge is that many of us buy the truth but we’re later deceived to think that we have outgrown it. I have been around since yesterday and one thing I wonder at is how soon people feel they have outgrown the truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding that brought them thus far.
I have seen people who were humble and received instruction, truth, wisdom, and understanding, who soon outgrow it. I pray that you will learn to add virtue to virtue; and not replace virtue with virtue. I pray that you shall never come to that place in life where you feel grown. May you never say to your guide or teacher or instructor that “Please, I am no longer a child!”
Love the truth; receive the word with gladness. Never fight the truth. This is because;
- Truth has no substitute
- You can do nothing against the truth
- Those who hate the truth are always gullible
- Those who believe in vanity are easily deceived
- Only the truth shall set you free
Truth has no substitute;
Truth is truth and always remains the truth. You cannot substitute the truth with anything. Truth is in its own class.
You can do nothing against the truth;
[2 Corinthians 13:8 KJV] “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth”
Please, let us get it straight, none of us can destroy truth or do anything against the truth.
Those who hate the truth become gullible;
The Book of Thessalonians reveals this clearly; those who reject the truth get deceived. They get deceived by deceivable and lying signs. Your safety is only guaranteed by loving the truth and receiving the word with gladness.
Stolen waters are sweet but only the truth can save and liberate. The bread of deceit is sweet but in the end, your mouth shall be filled with gravels. Let us learn to receive the truth, no matter how bitter it tastes.
Those who believe in vanity are easily deceived
The Bible says “let him that is being deceived not believe in vanity”. Your faith in vanity will make you susceptible.
Only the truth liberates;
[John 8:32 KJV] “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Stay blessed, I love you!
