Today we are praying for enlargement. We want to believe God for progress and expansion and grace to move to the next level.
If you remain at the same low level in life for too long, even those who love you get discouraged.
I am angry and upset with stagnation. I want to see progress and change in my life. I want to experience a new dimension of prosperity and advancement.
I have seen in my short how a little hitch and poverty can make people despise and abuse you.
You must be angry enough to be able to deal with stagnation and poverty. I believe it is about time that we began to live above every chicken mentality.
You are an eagle and must soar with eagles. Don’t allow a few people to hijack your life and destiny. This is time to arise for results.
Your journey up to where you belong begins with the following;
1. Dream
Until you are aware that there is more to life than worms, you will settle for the worms. You are an eagle and a hunter.
You eat flesh with blood, not invertebrates. You can choose to stay down and die as a nobody, or you can rise to the occasion.
Discover, write, and publish.
Write down the one thing you want to pursue with all of your might.
A great vision must be one paragraph; the best ones can be written in one sentence;
“Providing decent affordable housing for young families” or “Providing domestic services to busy couples”
2. Pray
Divine help plays a major role in beating the blues and the odds. You can make it beyond what others think.
Your name may be Jabez but God is your helper. It is time to pray. It is time to speak to the Lord. It is time to pray that;
- The Lord will Bless you
- The Lord will Enlarge your coast
- The hand of the Lord will be with you
- The Lord will keep you from the evil that it will not hurt you
The blessing, and enlargement, and presence, and protection of God will attract enemies and attacks.
Remember Job? The enemy went after him because of these things; so Jabez prayed for protection from the harm of evil.
[1Chronicles 4:9-10 KJV] “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.”
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”
Jabez desired and prayed for territorial control. He prayed and trusted God to;
- Bless him indeed and enlarge his coast and influence
- Sustain him by His mighty hand and keep evil from hurting him.
Jabez prayed and God heard him and answered him.
3. Dare to do
God will not do for you what you must do. God will enlarge your coast but you must possess and protect it. When God gave Israel Canaan, He did not possess it for them. They were charged to go in and fight and possess and protect, and they have been fighting to this day.
Do not let your name and background stop you. Dream, pray, and dare to do something beyond the ordinary. You are more than able. Yes, you can! Just do it!
Live your life to the max, be happy, and reach out; as long as it does not hurt God or your neighbour. This is your time and this is the moment.
Prayer points
Pray that the Lord will open your eyes and understanding to perceive new frontiers that can be possessed.
Sometimes, we are blinded to possibilities because of spiritual blindness. “Father open my eyes and understanding to know new levels to attain and areas to explore.”
Pray that Lord will bless you with resources and connections that are necessary to take you to the new frontiers that He is revealing to you.
To know what is possible and to lack what it takes to get there can be very frustrating.
Pray that the Lord will enlarge your coast and territory. Pray that your influence and fame shall spread abroad. Pray that God will extend your reach and make you impact overseas.
“We pray and break territorial confinement and stagnation”. Pray that any power assigned against your life to keep you down shall be broken.
Pray that the hand and presence of the Lord shall be with you. Pray that His hand shall be with and guide you to success. The Lord is able. His presence is reassuring. The Lord can keep and bless you.
Pray that the Lord will keep you from evil that it shall not hurt you. May His grace and power protect you and your territory.
