2021 is the year in which God is restoring glory to you. God has a grand plan to restore your lost glory and favour. You are getting prepared to walk in glory and power by Christ in you.
God is preparing you to walk in the glory. He is preparing you with the little and momentary affliction. This little and momentary affliction you are suffering is preparing you for glory and virtue. The truth is, Christ in you is the hope of glory.
[Colossians 1:27-29 KJV] “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.”
What then is Christ in you is the hope of glory, supposed to mean for your life;
I labour and strive (and you must also labour and strive) to preach Christ, warning and teaching you in wisdom —
One of the key things that would restore the glory into your life is the word of faith that we preach. Any man who despises our teaching of Christ may never step into the season and realm of glory and power. It is the word you hear that restores the glory and virtue to your life.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; so that you can admonish each other in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs —
The word that dwells in you is the hope of glory.
[Colossians 3:16 KJV] “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord”
Let the Spirit of God dwell in you —
The Bible tells us that God dwells in us by His Spirit. That is why the Bible says if a man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. We must allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.
That is the guarantee that we will walk in glory and power. The Holy Spirit is the restorer of all things. When God created the heaven and the earth, it was the Spirit of the Lord that moved upon the face of the deep to restore beauty by the spoken word. You need the Holy Spirit in your life for the restored glory.
[1 John 4:13 KJV] “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.”
Keep the commandment of Christ —
Which is a commandment of love. The Bible says that if we keep His commandment, then we dwell in Him and He dwells in us. The evidence of the presence of Christ in you is your willingness to keep his commandment.
[1 John 3:24 KJV] “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”
Focus on the right things as is revealed in the gospel of glory —
You will be changed into what you focus on. If you spend too much time with the ungodly, you will become ungodly. If you spend time in the word, you will be changed from glory to glory. It may be little by little, but you will surely change and be transformed.
[2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV] “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”
Give Christ (the word of God) a central place in your life —
Let Jesus have a central place in your life. Some of us treat Jesus as secondary; we have time for everything else but Christ. Glory and power come to those who hunger and desire it.
Finally, continue steadfastly —
Joseph was in prison and helped many people. When he interpreted the dreams of people, he told one to mention him to the pharaoh. The guy forgot about him but when his time came, the pharaoh had a dream.
What if Joseph had stopped doing what he was doing? What if he had backslid? How then would he be able to interpret Pharoah’s dream?
