I want to exhort you to decide to be more spiritual. This is for the simple reason that;
1. Two cannot walk together, except they have been made to agree:
(See Amos 3:3). No mortal man can walk with God unless he allows himself to be changed into the nature of God.
Indeed, the Bible says “he that is born of spirit is spirit and he that is born of flesh is flesh”. We must be born of the spirit to walk with God because He is a spirit.
2. To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(See Romans 8:6) Until you decide to be spiritually minded, you will not live nor have peace. The works of the flesh are manifest. There is no doubt what they are. If you walk in the flesh, you will die.
3. You cannot win in the battle of life unless you can engage the weapons of our warfare.
(See 2 Corinthians 10:3-4) Honestly, though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. There is a spiritual dimension to life and you must be spiritual enough to win that battle.
4. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned, a natural man cannot receive them.
(See 1 Corinthians 2:14) Spiritual things are even foolishness to the natural man. Unless you decide to be more spiritual, you cannot revieve most of the things we share and you will be handicapped.
