God speaks in many ways. He has been speaking in every dispensation and time. He has spoken since creation to men and still does.
One of the universal or key ways God speaks to people all over the world and in every dispensation and time is dreams and visions. Aside from these, however, God speaks by perception, by His word, by prophets, by intuition, by signs and wonders, by an audible voice, by angels and spirits.
[Hebrews 1:1-4 KJV] “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”
We, however, want to study to understand the dynamics of dreams and visions as a means by which God speaks to us.
We learn from the Scriptures that dreams and visions are dark speeches and similitude by which God speaks to people. As a matter of truth, in this dispensation of the Spirit, dreams, and visions are one of the principal ways by which God will speak to us.

Dreams and visions are language and have symbols by which communication is transmitted. These symbols and their meaning are usually peculiar to the dreamer of the dream.
You need to accept dreams and visions as one of the main ways to hear from God. God is always speaking and I know He is even speaking now.
In subsequent posts, we shall also be studying the types of dreams, the purpose of dreams, how to interpret dreams, how to keep dreaming and seeing visions.
Let us look forward to hearing from God. He speaks and He is still speaking. You must desire and hunger to hear from Him. I believe that as the Spirit is stirred up within you; your dream life will be activated and visions would be stirred in you. God wants to speak to each of us, and I pray that you will allow Him to speak to you directly.
