[Ecclesiastes 10:19 KJV] “A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.”
A feast is made for laughter and wine makes merry: but money answers all things. This is simple; there is one thing that answers all things. Most problems will have a solution if there is money. We must, therefore, raise our brethren to be money-wise if we can advance the kingdom of God.
The simple basics of money are in the planning of both the earning and spending of it. It is not enough to know how to earn money; you must also learn how to spend money. Apostle Paul teaches in Philippines 4:12-14 that he was instructed in how to be both abased and to abound, he stated clearly that he could do all things through Christ who strengthens him.
The story of the seven fat and seven lean cows in the days of Joseph reveals that every child of God must learn to harvest, plan, save, and spend resources wisely. We must not unnecessarily expand our taste and live large when we hit a bumper harvest; we must rather learn to save.
The simple tips to financial freedom are;
- Plan your earning
- Pay your taxes
- Give your tithe
- Save a 10%
- Budget spending
- Maintain discipline in spending
These are the simple things you can do when it comes to money. These are the basics. You can work harder at them and win the money game. The will of God is for us to prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper.
Stay blessed
