[Acts 20:24 KJV] “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
I want to tell you that after getting born again, just two things should matter:
- To finish your course with Joy
- To fulfill your ministry
There is a course and a ministry for every one of us. We all have some assignments left in our name to accomplish. We have a course and a ministry to finish with joy.
The journey may not be easy but you must be focused on finishing it. You must resolve that no matter what happens you will finish your course with Joy and fulfill your ministry.
There are times when many things will try to stop you but you must be focused. You should not allow anything or anyone to dissuade you from running and finishing your race. There is a course and a ministry for you; run the race and do not allow anything to distract you. You can make it if you decide to finish the race with joy. There is a crown laid up for you in heaven. Run! Run! Keep running and let nothing stop you.
Jesus is coming again and He will reward every man according to his works. You will receive your reward as your works are. You will and must finish the race and finish your course. You must make up your mind that in good and worse situations, you will still run the race. Do not let anything stop you. You are more than a conqueror! You are more than a champ. Keep pressing and keep winning! This is your season and time.
You are more than able. You can win and win big time! Don’t let anything stop you. You will win!
- Just sleep and wake up early
- Read your Bible and pray every day (See Acts 2:42)
- Fellowship and serve the saints (See Hebrews 10:25; Hebrews 6:10; 1 Timothy 5:3-10)
- Witness to everyone your meet by word and deed
- Work and support the weak (See Acts 20:32-36). Just strive to plan your earnings and spending: account, tax, tithe, save, and budget and spend.
- Endure temptation and submit yourself under the mighty hand of God. (See 1 Peter 5:10; 1 Cornthians10:13)
- Mortify your members upon the earth and fix your mind and heart on things above where Christ is seated (See Colossians 3:1-10)
These are the simple secrets to finished your course. You can make it. You will not fail. God is with you. Make up your mind to finish your course. Nothing should discourage you at any time!
