As a Classical Bible based church, the HighCity believes that the baptism in the Holy Spirit. This is an experience that must follow after conversion, and speaking in tongues is the initial, outward evidence of the Spirit baptism. In all of the instances of the Holy Ghost Baptism, the recipients prayed in tongues and prophesied.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

In the House of Cornelius, the converts prayed and prophesied when the Holy Ghost came upon them.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

The same thing happened in the city of Ephesus. The disciples prayed in tongues and prophesied when the Holy Ghost came upon them.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve.
Acts 19:6-7 KJV
This is very of the very first sign of baptism. Speaking in tongues and/or prophesying are the initial, the very first sign of the spirit baptism.
Other signs that show the outpouring of the Holy Ghost include but not limited to: shaking, quaking and jerking; an irresistible edge to shout, cry, laugh, sob or show extreme emotion; a feeling of heat or coldness; a feeling of weakness and trembling; the blowing of strong winds. These are signs that may point to the presence of the Holy Ghost.
There are times when the manifest glory is so thick that ministers can not even stand on their feet. Slaining in the spirit or falling under power is a very common occurrence when there is an outpouring of the spirit.
In the case of Apostle Paul, the scales fell off his eyes when the Holy Ghost came upon him. He therefore recieved the Holy Ghost and his healing. There is so much that God is willing to pour out upon us which we must embrace. Recieve the outpouring!
