[Proverbs 29:2 KJV]“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn”.
I believe with all of my heart that it is time for some good people to begin to take over the ruling and running of nations and communities and things. The Bible says when the righteous or good people are at the helm of affairs, everyone is happy. When good people rule the people rejoice. This is the time to raise a generation of men from this spiritual family to rule and run things.
We cannot leave the running of nations and institutions and businesses and sectors to the bad guys or the wicked. This is the time to prepare a generation of good people or righteous men to run things. We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are the people mandated to rule and lead the way. The nations are crying and weeping because the good guys are too timid to rule and run the city. This is the time to arise and rule to bring joy to the nations.
This is the earnest of all creature, groaning under the heavy burden of servitude. This is the time to show up. This is the desire of the nations. This is what the nations and all creation have been looking for and expecting.
[Romans 8:19-21 KJV] “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”
But let me not fool you; those who will rule tomorrow are in training today, and those who prepared themselves yesterday are ruling today. Let us not sit down expecting people to drop from space to rule. Let us pray, prepare, plan, and push until people rise from among us to rule. People must rise from among us to head institutions, industries, cities, and nations. This is the time and you are the man or woman of the time!
Simple secrets that can help you to rule in this life and make the desire of nations come through are as discussed below:
1. Be anointed!
Romans 5:17 teaches that those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by “the anointed one”, i.e. by Christ. The anointing is one of the key ingredients to rule in life. You must be anointed! You must be filled with the Holy Ghost and with power.
Isaiah 11 shows how the anointing plays a major role in ruling. We see how Jesus rules by the anointing. The anointing is so important in ruling!
2. Be diligent!
Proverbs 12:24 teaches that the hand of the diligent shall rule. We must raise a generation of men and woman who are diligent. When we learn to be excellent and diligent in all of our lives and vocations, we shall rule and make the nations smile again. May the Lord help us to be diligent in all that we do, Amen!
3. Be money-wise!
Proverbs 22:7 reveals that the rich shall rule over the poor… we must become money-wise. We must have a wealth creation mindset. We must learn how to be frugal with money. Each of us must learn the money skills: Earn, Budget, Tithe, Save, Invest, and Spend frugally.
Remember, the borrower is a servant of the lender. Let us learn to be money-wise or we will have to serve the rich.
4. Get understanding!
The Bible says “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7 KJV)
We know that “A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, And shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren” (Proverbs 17:2 KJV). Wisdom is the principal thing.
Remember that we can rule when we train our generations to get understanding. We must get understanding at all cost if we can rule!
“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, And princes decree justice. By me princes rule, And nobles, even all the judges of the earth” [Proverbs 8:14-16 KJV]
5. Read
In Joshua, we learn that those who read will lead and rule. The Lord told Joshua that the best way is to read and memorise what you read. Those who read will always rule over those who don’t read.
6. Stay away from slay queens and wine.
[Proverbs 31:3-4 KJV] “Give not thy strength unto women, Nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; Nor for princes strong drink:”
If you want to rule, then stay away from women and wine. Go all out but beware of women and wine.
7. Be under authority and punish all forms of disobedience.
You can only punish all forms of disobedience when your obedience is complete. Your words will carry weight when you learn to stay under authority.
It is important to remember that in the kingdom of God and this New Testament era, ruling or leadership is serving. The Gentiles rule over their servants but the kingdom leaders rise to serve their servants. (See Mark 10:42-45)
