[Deuteronomy 7:1-3 KJV] “When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites,”
“seven nations greater and mightier than thou; and when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.”
I believe we have entered a phase as a church, and this is the time to rule. It is important to mention once again that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are called to both seasons and illuminate the earth and world. We are to season and preserve the planet earth and illuminate the people, systems and structures.
We are called to illuminate the world. We are commissioned to reproof the hidden works of darkness, and not to join in the fruitless works. The Lord warned the children of Israel about this.
There are seven key mountains to possess;
- The mountain of education,
- The mountain of science and technology
- The mountain of business and commerce
- The mountain of arts and entertainment
- The mountain of law and order
- The mountain of media and publishing
- The mountain of religion and faith.
These are the mountains we should be targeting and praying and preparing to possess and influence with light.
As we move to influence we should be careful that we;
- Don’t conform to the patterns we find there. There are giants and men that occupy that mountain before we got there. Be careful not to blend in. You must stand out and be separated. You cannot get there and do the same things they do. If you do, the Lord will drive you out, just as He drove away the others.
- Don’t date, marry, or collaborate with them. This weakens your covenant with God and you will be led astray. Never be “unequally yoked” with the unbelieving and sinful world. Today, we find it easy both date, collaborate, and marry carnal people and unbelievers because we have not separated ourselves.
- Always remember that God put you there to represent His views and not yours. You are not up there by your might. Your might could never take you up there. God is the one making a way for you and not yourself.
