Day 1 | Direction
[Acts 13:1-3 KJV] “Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.”
“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away”
Today is that great day when we begin our fast together. Let us set aside some time to ask the Holy Spirit to speak to us over the next 21 days. This is the time to hear the voice of God and to know His will for the coming season. We are desiring direction from God. We desire that God will speak to us today.
- Pray that God will show us His ways, will and purpose for 2022
- Pray that we will hear His voice more clearly and sharply
- Pray for genuine understanding of the scriptures
- Pray for grace for the next 21 days
- Pray for personal growth and establishment
- Pray for passion and momentum to run the race set before you
- Pray that God will subdue enemies before you
Day 2 | Consecration
[Psalm 51:1-2, 7-12, 14-15 KJV] “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.”
“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.”
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit.”
“Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou
God of my salvation: And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; And my mouth shall shew forth thy praise”
We are focusing on surrendering our lives afresh to God. It is easy and normal to go through life and collect the baggage of sin, offence, bitterness, hurt, and discouragement. Many of us are being weighed down by such load, but as we fast and pray today we are seeking God to:
- Have mercy on us and blot out our transgression
- Wash us thoroughly in the blood that flows from calvary
- Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us
- Not cast us away from His presence nor take His Holy Spirit from us
- Restore unto us the joy of salvation and uphold us with a free spirit
- Deliver us from bloodguiltiness and our lips will sing of your praises
- Restore unto us the wasted years and all that we have lost to sin and perversion
Day 3 | Warfare
[Luke 10:19 KJV] “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
We have authority and power from our Lord Jesus Christ to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy. As we wait on God today, let us arise and deal with every evil power that will try to stop us from consolidating our gains and pressing on.
Pray and bind every;
- spirits of depression, anxiety, and despair (discouragement) | Break-forth into singing and cry aloud Isaiah 54:1
- spirit of mediocrity, smallness, rustiness, and complacency| we must enlarge the place of our tent (reach), strengthen the curtains (core values and boundaries), the cords (the principles and systems, and the stakes (deepening our roots in Christ (See Isaiah 54:2-3)
- spirit of fear, timidity, intimidation and doubts (See Isaiah 54: 4-10)
- spirit of feeling broken, vulnerable, and traumatised (See Isaiah 54:11-12)
- spirit of ignorance, fear, panic, and intimidation that fights our children. (See Isaiah 54: 13)
- spirit of perversion, oppression, terror, and unrighteousness (See Isaiah 54:14)
- spirit of conspiracy, organised wickedness, evil confederacy, wasters, formed weapons (orchestration), and tongues that may arise against you (See Isaiah 54:15-17)
Day 4 | Visions and Pursuits
[Habakkuk 2:1-4 KJV] “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak,
and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith”
When men decide to seek the LORD, he commits Himself to show them His purposes and intents. I have no doubt that God will begin to speak to us and we must understand how to work on the visions to make them manifest.
Let us arise and pray that God will give us;
- Clear visions and intentions | Father, as we wait upon you show us your will and ways. Reveal tomorrow to us today that we may psyche ourselves for it.
- Right words and platform to publish or cast the vision | Dear Lord, give us the right words and access to the right platform to publish this vision more plainly. Show us where and how to express and publish the vision you have laid on our hearts and spirits.
- Courage and strength | Pray that God will give us the courage and strength to follow the path and will He shows us. That was all Joshua needed!
- Strategy and resources | No vision manifest in a vacuum; you need strategy and resources. There are times when your available resources will dictate the strategy and vice versa. Father, help us to formulate, evaluate, and select the right strategy to discharge our charge! May the Lord give us the ways and the means to carry out His agenda!
- Humility and patience to wait for his timing | every vision is for an appointed time. Pray that the Lord will give us the faith and patience to wait until the fulness of time. Pray that you shall neither be puffed up nor lifted up. Pray that none of us will think too highly of ourselves!
- Skills and technology | Pray that the same God who anointed people in the days of Moses for the building of the Ark of God and sewing of priestly garments shall sharpen our skills and wisdom to implement all the things He lays on our hearts!
- Power and authority to subdue enemies | Pray that the Lord will give us the power and authority to subdue the Sanballat and Tobiah; serpents and scorpions, powers and creeping things, imaginations and thoughts, high things and smoke screens, principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. Pray that you shall subdue enchanters and diviners, witches and wizards!
Day 5 | Maximum Living
[1 Chronicles 12:32 KJV] “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment”
Many people fail because they think everything happens by chance. Indeed, “time and chance happens to all men”, but we must not leave our lives to chance. If you want maximum profit from life, then pray and do these 8 things that smart people do. Pray that God will help you to;
- Plan tomorrow today
- Sleep and awake early
- Read your Bible and pray every morning
- Bath and dress how you want to be addressed
- Step out in faith and in the spirit to work with might, wisdom, and diligence
- Eat in due season for strength and not for pleasure (See Ecclesiastes 10:16-17)
- Stay positive, forgive more, and judge less
- Connect and continue with those who call upon God out of a pure heart
Day 6 | Renewal
[Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV] “Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”
There is one truth about life you must understand; that is; every man, once in a while, gets tired, worn out, exhausted or weary; but God gives strength to those who look up to Him. God renews the strength of those who look up to Him. That is why the prophet teaches that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
It is my prayer that as we wait on God, your strength shall be renewed and you shall not faint. I have no doubt that waiting on God will pay off; you will receive new strength to press on!
- Pray that the Lord shall renew our strength! Pray that we shall experience a fresh baptism! A fresh outpouring!
- Pray that God will anoint us with both the Holy Spirit and power. May you receive fresh strength for the journey!
- Pray that the presence of God will go with us! You shall not walk alone all year round! The presence of the Lord will be with you!
- Pray that your words shall not be just enticing but shall come with the demonstration of the spirit’s power. When you speak, fire will follow! More demonstration and manifestations of the supernatural.
- Pray that you shall be anointed; you shall not be an ordinary man! Pray for strength!
Day 7| Dig and Dung Around Us
[Luke 13:6-9 KJV] “He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.”
“Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?”
“And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: and if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”
If there is one thing that God is expecting and seeking from us, it is fruits! God is making all the investment in us that we might bear fruits. He comes every year to see whether we have borne some fruits. I pray that you shall bear fruits. Bearing fruits is a responsibility you must keep. Fruits don’t just appear; it is the result of work. That is why God reprimands you if you don’t bear fruits. He has given us all it takes to live goodly and effectual.
- The master gardener will dig around us. Pray that anything in your environment that is choking your fruitfulness shall be uprooted. May Jesus dig around you! Decree the uprooting of lust, anxiety, the deceitfulness of riches in your heart, and the pride of life!
- Jesus Christ shall baptise and supply us with all blessings and grace it takes to bear fruits. Dear Lord dung around us! Enrich our environment to make it support fruitfulness.
- Jesus Christ will touch and work on you in a way to foster growth and fruitfulness.
- The Lord will prune us to bear more fruits. Pray that you will bear greater fruits in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Decree an end to barrenness and fruitlessness. Pray that any causes of barrenness in ministry, finances, and family life shall be removed in the name of Jesus Christ!
God bless you!
