[Psalm 92:12-15 KJV] “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: He is my rock, And there is no unrighteousness in him.”
The Scriptures reveal that those who be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. The house of the Lord must be built. You can not be planted in a non-existent place. We must therefore arise and build. We must build God a sanctuary. The Bible says we are built a spiritual house to offer spiritual sacrifices and show forth the praises of our God.
We must therefore arise and build the house. This is not the time to build cedar houses and mansions; it’s time to arise and build the house of God. Remember that as we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all other things shall be added unto us. I pray that you shall arise and build the house. of the Lord.
- Let us partner with God; we may plant, others may water but God gives the increase. He is the one building his church; we are only co-labourers together with him. He is our senior partner. (See 1 Cor 3:6-9; Matthew 18:16)
- Pray for all men and people in authority that we may leave our godly lives in peace! (See 1 Timothy 2:1-8)
- Follow-up and exhort each other to come to the mountain of the Lord to be taught his ways. (See Isaiah 2:1-5)
- Let us give and volunteer ourselves and resources to the building of the house. The apostle said “the church gave themselves first and then their resources.” (See 1 Corinthians 8:1-10)
- Be separated from the world. Until we are separated and make choices that are different from the world, we are not ready to build the house (See Acts 2:39-47)
- Commit yourself to serving the saints and to helping your pastor advance the kingdom.
When we commit ourselves to building the house of the Lord, He will add all other things to us.
God bless you
