[John 15:5 KJV] “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
2022 is a year full of increase and prosperity in the name of Jesus! There are two key things you must pay attention to;
- The grounds you receive the seeds into – Where you are planted
- Seeds you sow in your ground – Words you receive and believe
1. You must learn to break up your fallow grounds:
To do this you must deal with;
- Hardenness
- Lust for other things
- The cares of this life and anxiety
- The pride of life
- The deceitfulness of riches
These are the things that can choke you from being fruitful and increasing. These are the thorns of life.
2. You must be careful what you hear and how you listen;
Some of you listen to answer back but the wise listen to learn and to ponder. When Mary heard all the things that were said about the infant Jesus she pondered it all in her heart. What are you feeding on? How are you listening? What you feed you will inform how you react! Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
3. You must be planted in the house of God;
Where you are planted will determine how you will grow and fare. You must be planted in appropriate soil. You must be planted in a place that feeds you well. Not everybody can grow in a place where the pastor is soft; some need a hard pastor. Where are you planted?
4. You must sow the right kind of seed:
If you sow in the spirit, you will reap in eternal life; but if you sow by the flesh, you will reap corruption. There is a law that governs the earth; seedtime and harvest shall not cease till the earth is no more. You must sow and your seed must die if you want to reap. What you sow must fall into the ground and die if you want to increase. It is an important nugget to be careful how and what we sow.
Stay blessed
