Living the life

[Colossians 1:16‭-‬17 KJV] “for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”

There are two worlds, two environments, and two realms right now: the heavenly realm and the earthly realm, the visible realm and the invisible realm. Both realms are actively involved and impact our lives. How we deal with these realms and environments determine how far our lives will go.

Whether you are aware and prepared or not does stop these realms from impacting you. You must, therefore, be trained and ready to use your most potent weapons to stay in charge. Your most potent weapons are;

  1. Being strong in the Lord and the power of His might; Weaklings will not survive the intense battle that goes on in the realms there be. You need strength, you need to be strong, not just strength but that in the power and the might of God. Some of the things you have to deal with are deeper than nature.
  2. Putting on the whole armour of God; The armour of God is the only weapon that can both protect you and be useful in close combat. There are many wiles and fiery darts that the enemy will throw at you. The armour is what will protect you.
  3. Taking a stand to withstand; You must resolve to stand. Many things will try to push you down. You must take a stand to withstand. You must resolve not to surrender nor crush under the burden of life. There are times when you may feel like giving up but you must stand tall.
  4. Praying with all prayers and watching with supplication and perseverance; This is one of the most potent offensive weapons against darkness. Watching and praying is your most deadly weapon and arsenal against darkness. Take your prayer life seriously.
  5. Proclaiming the glad tidings; The final weapon I want to share is the weapon of witnessing. We can overcome certain things by our testimony. “… they overcame by the blood of the lamb and their testimony; not loving their lives even unto death.”
