It is important to teach that God is faithful and will keep His word but increase and growth does not take place in a vacuum. Anything that is working is worked by men. There are always real humans behind every development you witness around you.
Much of increase depends on;
- The type of ground that received the seed: In Mark 4, our Lord Jesus Christ told a parable to the end that a sower went out to sow the word but it was received into four different types of soils; and hence there were four different yields. The type of heart with which we work determines the increase we may experience.
- The amount of work that is done on it: In Luke 13:6-9, we learn that when a man who planted a fig tree wanted to cut it down, the gardener that worked on the farm requested for one more year and more work to be done on the fig.
- The rain that comes upon it: In Hebrews 6, we learn that the ground that drinks of the water that comes upon it must bear fruits.
If what you are doing is not working, pay attention to these three areas. You will and must increase!
Stay blessed
