Your faith can make you whole

[Hebrews 10:35‭-‬36 KJV] “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

Many are broken! Many are bound but God is the greatest healer! Exodus 15:26 teaches that He is the Lord that heals us. He will not put any of the diseases of Egypt upon us! He is our healer.

One of the common explanations that the Lord gave for healing miracles was the faith of the people. In all instances of healing, in the ministry of Jesus Christ, he commended the faith of the people.

[Mark 5:34 KJV] “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

I believe with all of my heart that your faith can make you whole! You can be healed; therefore, cast not away your confidence, it has a great recompense of reward. I have no doubt that your faith will pay off; your confidence in God shall not be betrayed! God is faithful and He would heal completely.

Our classic example of a man that found healing; even after prophets had declared he shall die is Hezekiah. He was told to put his house in order but he returned to the house of the Lord.

[2 Kings 20:1‭-‬7 KJV] “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.”

“Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight.”

“And Hezekiah wept sore. And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.”

“And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.”

There are a few lessons anyone can follow and learn from to be restored. The things that are written are written for our example, for our learning, and our practice.

Remember that faith is not what you do to merit God’s grace, but what you do because of what God has said or done!

Faith says I am not taking no for an answer because God says He has done it for me. Faith is standing on the promises of God. His promises are yea and amen.

Hezekiah received a prophet visit.

It was a divine visitation. He had an encounter with the word. In today’s world of technology, you can invite any man of God to your bedroom, living room, kitchen or even washroom; but whichever way, you must build your faith. That faith is what you need to get better. Your faith can make you whole again.

Hezekiah did not throw away his confidence.

He was of the firm faith that there must be a way out. He had boils and could not go to the house of the Lord. It is important to know that Uzziah had leprosy and could not enter the temple again till he died. Hezekiah was not ready to end that way. He was ready to put up a fight. It was either he was healed or dead. He was ready and willing to hold God at His word.

He was ready to turn everything he had heard before and read to prayer.

He began to pray the Word and to hold the horn of the altar. Hezekiah was ready to put up a fight. He was ready to fight till something happens.

Job said in Job 14 that “if a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, Till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: Thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.” (Job 14:14‭-‬15 KJV).

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and began to pray. He prayed until something happened. This is the time to arise to pray, praise, and engage in warfare for total wellness.

He prayed until Isaiah returned.

I am sure he was willing and ready to pray until death comes or the prophet returns. Prayer works and we shall pray! The Lord then sent Isaiah to go back. He sent him a word that he shall go to the house of the Lord on the third day.

Hezekiah engaged the wisdom and direction of the Prophet.

The prophet told him to put fig leaves on the boils and he did. May these aprons be unto you as the fig leaves to heal you completely.

Stay blessed
