My exhortation for you today is on three steps to escape want and lack in your personal life. Find out how even nations can break free from poverty. So let’s start aith our focus scripture;
[3 John 1:2 KJV] “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Beloved, the will of God concerning you is for you to prosper and be in health. God wants you to advance in peace and walk in sufficiency. I know that times are hard all over the world but you can escape lack and walk in sufficiency. You can be exempted from this difficult time.
Permit me to share with you, three simple steps to escape want and lack. Here are some of the practical biblical wisdom to escape want. You must escape and you can’t suffer lack anymore. If you really qant to escape lack, then;
1. Tame your cravings and lust:
The Bible teaches that a riotous eater of flesh and a wine biber shall be poor. Indeed, he that loves perfume and ointment shall be poor. This is one of the main reasons many African nations are poor. Our leaders spend money and resources we don’t have. Most often than not, we spend to impress the electorate. You will escape lack when you tame your cravings and lust.
2. The second secret is to Make the Lord your shepherd:
In Psalm 23, we learn that David did not want anything because he was the Lord’s sheep. The Lord is the same and changes not. When you become the sheep of the Lord’s pasture, you will go in and out by the door and find pasture. Make the Lord your shepherd. Trust and rely on Him!
3. Learn to draw from the invisible for use in the visible:
Isaish 45 teaches that there is a realm of darkness and a secret place where treasure is hoarded. We also know that God is able to supply our needs according to His riches in glory. To escape lack, therefore, we must learn to draw from the invisible for use in the visible by faith, violence, hardwork, and wisdom.
