I have an exhortation for you today to encourage you to believe in who you can be, so let’s take a look at this short passage from the Book of Jeremiah;
[Jeremiah 1:5-7 KJV] “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
“Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.“
We are studying to discover how we can be all that we were designed to be. In fact, there is more to our lives than what is obvious. There is so much that God has deposited in us but one barrier that stands between many and destiny is that we are unable to believe in what we can be.
When God called Jeremiah to the nations as a prophet, his response was I am a child. He saw himself as not able. God had deposited in him all that it will take to speak to nations, but he, the prophet did not have faith in what he could be. Many people are satisfied with their mediocre results because they have not as yet understood what they could be.
Do you remember what Moses said when God called him? He said “no, I am a stutterer, I can not speak”. When God was looking at ‘a god in the making’, he had settled for being a stutterer. I pray that you will awaken and believe in what you can be; and go all out to become what you have been designed to be. Believe in what you can be. You have what it takes to overcome the world, and we would.
[1 John 5:4-5 KJV] “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?“
This is the time to arise and fight forward. You can be all that God designed you to be, You must believe in what you can be. A positive mindset is the big thing when it comes to running with purpose. You are what God says you are and can do what the Scriptures say you can do. You have what it takes, believe and act!
Stay blessed!
