[2 Timothy 1:6 KJV] “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.“
Everyone of us have a responsibility to stir up the gift of God in us. When spiritual gifts are imparted, they lie dormant until they are actived. This message is a call on us to stir the gift of God in us; the gifts we received when the presbytery laid hands on us. Let us light the fire of the Spirit again let us ignite the fire again. May God find a generation of believers who are so hungry for the stirring of the fire of God.
We need another awakening and stirring. Let us arise and pray for another Pentecost. Let us arise and pray for another outpouring! Let’s stir the gift of God. We need this sharp gift to serve the world around us. Many are dying! Many are perishing and we need these graces to serve and to snatch some from hell fire. This is the time and now is the hour. Let us arise and push for the stirring of the gifts.
- Pray that the gift of God in you shall be stirred and manifest mightily in the name of Jesus! Father, stir up your gift in me. Let the fire begin to blaze again. Heal me of coldness and lukewarmness!
- Pray that the Lord will send fresh fire into His church. May the Lord awaken His church again! May we begin to feel the fire one more time. Father, pour upon us the Spirit of Prayer and Supplication.
- Pray that the Lord will revive His works in the midst of the years. May the Father stir up fresh fire in our cold hearts. Father, stir Your holy hunger for spiritual things in us. May You remove every spiritual blindness upon our hearts. Heal our backsliding oh Lord! Heal us!
