[Hebrews 7:23-25 KJV] “And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: but this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them“
I have no doubt that there is no cause for alarm. We are privilledged to see the enforcement of this testament, the New Testament, in our days. Indeed, there have been many high priests, but we are privileged to have Jesus Christ as our high priest.
We have a better system of priesthood and a more excellent high priest; because He cannot be stopped by death. The other high priest that came before, could not continue to offer sacrifices for the salvation of their people. They were stopped by death. The died and could not continue but we have a high priest that can save us to the uttermost because He lives forever. He lives forever to make intercession for us.
You have no reason to be afraid. Jesus Christ is interceding for us. He is our great high priest. We must trust Him absolutely. He lives to intercede for us. He is our high priest.
