[Romans 1:17 KJV] “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.“
When the Bible says “the just shall live by faith“; it simply means if you want to live rightly, live by what God has said. This means there is no other way to live as an just man except by faith.
I always teach that there are many ways of killing a cat; but there is only one right way to kill a cat to prepare a table for a Christian at home; that is by cutting its head. If you go to the market to buy meat, you don’t need to ask how it was killed; but if we are preparing the cat for a meal at home, then we must do it the right way.
It is important that anyone can live by faith on a normal day but it takes faith and being intentional to live by faith on a stormy day. I want to teach you how to build faith that can stand in the storms of life .
7 simple ways to live by faith are;
1. Listen by the word:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, Their sound went into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.“
(Romans 10:17-18 KJV)
2. Speak the language of faith:
Speaking leads to fluency
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.” (2 Corinthians 4:13-14 KJV)
3. Write and publish what you believe plainly on tables so those who read can run with you:
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2:1-4 KJV)
4. Read to gain understanding:
“In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; in the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.” (Daniel 9:1-2 KJV)
5. Think on the word you have believed:
“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.” (Luke 2:19 KJV)
6. Exercise yourself unto godliness
“But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.” (1 Timothy 4:7 KJV)
“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: and I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;” (Daniel 9:3-4 KJV)
Stay blessed
