If I could turn back the hand of time, one thing I will do as a young person is to listen more. I regret the fact that I talked and taught to much at a time I ought to have been listening. If I could go to college again, I will listen more, talk less, and not get easily angered. Now, I want to listen more, talk less, and not get easily angered. I want to save time and get forward faster.
There are three things I wish we could do more when listening;
- Find out what is being said
- What is not being said
- How it gets absorbed and
- How I am going to utilise the knowledge and understanding being shared.
