[Psalm 59:1-5 KJV] “Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: Defend me from them that rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, And save me from bloody men. For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: The mighty are gathered against me; Not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
“They run and prepare themselves without my fault. Awake to help me, and behold. Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to visit all the heathen: Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.”
I have come to discover that in life there are times when things and people chase your life. There are four classes of person that are most often after your soul and life to destroy it. Most of them are either moved by jealous or by envy.
Jealousy is when they want what you have. They wish they were the ones that had it but don’t, and envy is when they just don’t want you to have it. They may not want it but they don’t want you to have it. Most of the times, these folks bind themselves with oaths and are determined to destroy you; but the Lord will deliver and defend you.
These classes of men are;
- Enemies
- Those who rise against you
- Workers of iniquity
- Bloody men
- The mighty that gather against you
Pray that the Lord will deliver you from enemies and workers or iniquity.
May the Lord deliver you from people who hate you for no cause. May you never fail or faulter before your enemies! May you walk into places where you are shielded from your enemies.
No worker of iniquity shall prosper against you. May you walk to the newness of life and grace. The workers of iniquity shall fail in their assignment!
Pray that the Lord will defend you from those who rose against you.
May the Lord become your shield and buckler! May the Lord defend you with a firewall! May you not suffer from the assaults of darkness! You will not fail!
To defend you means that you have to keep going about your normal duties and assignment but He will protect you.
To deliver you means, He will take you out of the situation. There are situations in which God takes you out, of with others, He keeps you there but protects you. May the Lord defend you from those who rise against you.
Pray that God will save you from bloody men and the mighty who gather against you without cause
God will save us! The Lord will save you from the mighty that gather against you without cause. May the Lord keep you safe.
Dear friend, you will not suffer oppression or depression. Anything that is trying to suppress you will give way. The hand of the wicked shall not prosper against you! You are coming out in Jesus name!
